I've put the handout I gave you yesterday on my iShare page in case you'd like a clean copy or want one to share with the rest of your grade level. Again, never hesitate to ask questions!

Podcasting with Audacity
Thanks again for stopping in yesterday for the podcasting training. If you ever have questions or want me to come out and help your class with the podcasting, don't hesitate to ask. It never hurts to have an extra hand!

What do you think?
As we come to the end of the 1st quarter, I was curious as to how you thought using the blog was going? What do you like/dislike about it? I realize it's still pretty early, but do you think this is something that you can see making a difference in bringing back other TATs in the area?
In 10 day I'm going to share with a group at ESU how you are "piloting" this endeavour, so I would like some honest feedback from you that I could share with them.
Thanks!

Staff Development Ideas
Please reply on ALL topics that you think would be useful or beneficial to our staff. We're thinking about conducting mini "breakout sessions" to train staff on within the next several months at staff meetings or inservice days. For example, we talked about hooking up the Infocus projector and/or the AverMedia to the tv. Any other ideas? What are your thoughts on the TIME needed for the suggested topics?
Thanks for your input!!

"Stop Day" Tech Observations...!
Hi There,
After thinking about our discussion on current use of technology in the building and plans for technology budget money, Deb and I would like you to take a quick 5-10 minute "technology walk" throughout your wing or parts of the building. (You can pop out and do this during para or co-teaching time if needed...) This in NO way is to be threatening...just a quick peek into what is ACTUALLY happening on any particular day and time. Maybe 5 minutes one morning and 5 minutes in the afternoon? If you are curious about what project is going on with the integration/technology use, then it would be interesting to buzz with the kids using it at the time to get their "angle" on the activity/lesson. Please try to do this within the next week (*BY OCTOBER 18). Then, please post your observations and/or thoughts about the great stuff going on!!! :) Please leave teacher names off the blog, but DO mention if it is primary or intermediate where you observed the integration. Thank you for your thinking!

Reader & Email
It appears that Google Reader and the email subscription seems to be working on my end. If you are having any trouble, please let me know and we'll try to problem solve together.

Budget Money
We will be getting our budget money totals very soon! What are your visions for this year? What do you think is a need for the building? What would enhance student learning?
Mac Computer Lab
Hi All,
I was wondering what your thoughts were about the Mac lab in the library. This item was on the last TAT agenda, but we didn't have the chance to get everyone's input. Please tell me what you think: what are your thoughts about keeping all of the Macs in the library? Keeping a small set in the library? Do you think primary uses them more in the library? Any other ideas for the future?
Thanks for the input! :)
