The Google Reader feature isn't working. I'm guessing because you have to have special permission to see the website. Lets discuss what you want to do: Open it up so that everyone can view it and you can do an automatic subscription (you can make it secure so that only people with Gmail accounts can comment) or keep it the way it is and leave it up to everyone to check it themselves. Please comment and I'll work on whatever changes you want.

I kind of like the idea of being able to check this when I have them time...But, I can see why we'd want the subscription, too. Hmm...food for thought! I think I will wait for the majority rules. :)
I left early, so I'm not sure of all the details, but it would be nice to get email alerts or something to invite us to the blog, rather than having to check it daily. I am able to choose that option with my Yahoo genealogy groups. Is there a way to do that here?

I am not exactly sure what the google reader does. Sorry I left early from the meeting. Can someone explain it again. Sorry to be the dummy!
I agree with Ellen (ebugz). I would like some kind of alert to let me know to check the site. I have good intentions to check at least 2-3 times a week, but...
I don't know what Google Reader does, either, Beth, so you are not alone and I stayed for the whole meeting!!!!
I think a little reminder would be nice....I mean not like any of us would forget to check it with the other things we have going on but...maybe just a small reminder. :)
I too do not fully understand the google reader either.
As you can see, I've opened the blog up to everyone so that we can allow Google Reader and email subscriptions. I've also made it so that comments go through Caroline's school email first. We'll find out tomorrow how well this works, once Caroline adds this comment. I've already signed up for both Reader and email.
A reminder would be awesome! I am clueless about google reader.
